Located on the 18th and 19th floors of the Borg-Warner Building in Chicago, the two-story, 25,000-square-foot office space was designed to promote collaboration and increase flexibility for an international architecture firm. The formal lower level offers a community art gallery in the lobby to greet visitors and houses multiple forms of conference rooms for engaging various types of clientele. Also on the lower level, the glass-framed Design Lab provides a unique space for creative collaboration and design workshops. A two-story flex space was created as a hinge point, connecting the informal upper-level open studio and providing an additional work setting.
